According to PMC, pursuant to the powers vested in the Medical and Dental Council under Section 8(2) (f) of the Pakistan Medical Commission Act, 2020 the Council hereby promulgates Admission Regulations (Amended) 2020-2021. For purposes of preparing the merit list the MDCAT result shall carry a 50% weightage and 30% weightage shall be given to the student marks acquired in the F.Sc. or equivalent marks as certified by IBCC. 20% weightage given to marks obtained in the interview to be conducted by MIMC.
It is the responsibility of all candidates having foreign qualification to obtain recognition of their qualifications and equivalence certificates from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Islamabad.
Admissions in MIMC shall be conducted only for the 2021 Session through a centralized automated admission system of PMC.
The Pakistan Medical Commission shall invite applications on a national level from students seeking admission to private medical and dental colleges immediately after the announcement of the MDCAT result. Entry test MDCAT had been conducted on 29th November 2020.
All candidates selected for admission will have to submit the original certificates of SSC/ equivalent and HSSC/ equivalent certificate before joining the College. These certificates will be returned after graduation. The final approval of admission will be granted by the Vice Chancellor on the recommendation of the Principal and Admission Committee.
